i parked my car at the top of a parking structure today at Santee Alley in Los Angeles, CA and decided to snap a few pictures on my phone. About 2 hr later, came back to my car and the rear window was smashed out by what seems to be a spark plug or small rock. Nothing was stolen, so im guessing it was a hate crime... i checked in with the parking structure attendant, but there wasnt any camerea on the top level... so i was out of luck, sucked it up and drove back to OC with a shattered rear window.

Just letting you guys know to be careful where u park your car. and if you ever go to Santee Alley, leave the GS at home! I will post pictures of the damage tomorrow.

Does anyone know where to get a rear window in Orange County area for a good price? i know its gonna be pricey because of the defroster unit on the rear windshield

I just don't get why idiots do that. I am always aware where I park my car and who is around me. I had a wanna be gangster driving a Chrysler 300 attempting to intimidate me, told me to move as I was waiting for a parking spot (this was after he tried to squeeze past me). Taunted me and drove around the block to come up behind me and take a photo. What is funny is the guy was rather large and tried to intimidate me ( I weight 190lbs and I am 5'7")

I forgot to mention that 6 hrs later I ended up seeing the exact same car and I ended up behind him after he made his right turn and I made my left. He didn't like me being behind him and tried to speed up as I stay close by as I wanted to be 100% it was the same car as it was hard to see his plates. I've never seen a car book it so fast after I followed for about 2 miles

i went to downtown around 6th street / grand ave and parked on the street these days....thank God nobody do anything stupid.

PM GSteg about rear window, I know he just got his rear window replaced few months ago.

i called around for a used rear window, one placed wanted 300 installed, and another locate shop has one for 175 installed, so im waiting for him to call me back when he checks his salvage yard. i just want to get this done as soon as possible. cause my GS is my daily..

what i dont understand is in the first picture, i parked all the way in the corner. whoever did it could of easier slashed my tires or broke the front windshield, but they walked all the way around to the pass rear and broke it from there. also theres is a little dent my trunk too that i just noticed.. looks almost like something bounced off the glass onto the trunk or the other way around
