probably the same lady that's trying to sell a white is350. she emailed me saying she's in Canada and just got out of a divorce and needed to get rid of the car for 13000. she gave me a vin to a black is350 located in texas lol.
she said i would have to send money to ebay and they will hold the money until the car gets shipped here. if i like it after a test drive, then she takes the money.

so be careful out there. only buy a car in person and local.

i came across and IS250 for sale as well. she said that she was getting divorced and needed to see the car. i asked if i could take a look at it and she said that i couldn't see the car bc she was overseas in iraq. she even signed off as "doctor" in her email to me.

if it's too good to be true...it probably is a scam.

lol... I can’t believe we have people too stupid enough to realize it’s a scam and get burnt... I hear horror stories all the time working at a bank and its just crazy that people are so gullible.

When i was looking for a SC i found an 03 SC430 for 5600... I didn't believe it so i emailed the guy. He told me the same thing that philipGS3 was told.

It doesn't hurt to check if the offer is too good to be true.. sometimes they arent.. but be careful and avoid giving out any personal info or money.

I ran into a similar scam last year when I was looking for my GS. I found a beautiful 02 GS300 in Texas for $3k. I too thought it was too good to be true. I emailed the seller to see what was up and he did respond. He told me that he was shipping out to Iraq in a few days so I should send the money to his cousin in Las Vegas. Yeah right! mind you the posting was for somewhere in Texas. Be careful with your money people. There are many people on Craigslist just waiting to take what you work hard for.

First of all I'm very glad that you like my car. It runs and looks great. It has no hidden flaws, no dents, no leaks and it hasn't been involved in any crashes. I have its clear title in hand. I serve the USAF and I'm stationed at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam. I won't be able to leave the base until December, so I will have the car shipped to you at my expense because I benefit of various discounts.
I will pay the shipping fees and the insurance of the car.
All documents will be provided to you along with the car including the bill of sale under your name, title, service records ...
The reason I'm selling the car is of a personal nature and has nothing to do with the car at all.
I'm a serious seller and I prefer to deal only with a serious buyer that understands my situation.
