Default I am looking at a 2003 GS 300 for $2900?

I see a GS 300 for sale for $2900. She said motor was changed and everything runs good just need a new car. I emailed her for more info regarding the car. I am interested to buy it as a daily driver.

To the experienced GS members. What should I be concern for with the price being this low? Because I see a range of $7000 to $12000 for the second generation GS. Please tell me what to check when I see the car in person? I am a SC owner.

Thanks

Clean title? If so, still ask if its ever been in an accident. There are lots of ways to go around avoiding the vehicle to have a salvage title.... Maybe she's rich and just dont care so I'd steal it for that price

Is this on craigslist? The same 'she' that keeps posting a GS for $2900 in various city's? Scam.

No necessarily. I personally NEVER leave my number, not gonna publicly post my number, thats just foolish. We had a member who too found a too good to be true deal on a $5000 body kit for $600... and go it.

As long as they dont ask for money up front, I say go as far as you can to see and buy it. The way I figure it, as long as they dont ask for information or money, do all you can to get it would suck if you found out it was real and missed the deal... I for one did so and thats how i got my GS at a 1/4 blue book value

Good job, you just gave them your email.

If it wasn't a scam, it'd be a 93 not a 03

Yeah it's a scam. She's been doing that for over 4 months. I saw it on craigslist also. I was like -drool- when I saw it, but then did some research thanks to our friend google and found out it was a scam.

if you want a wrecked 03 GS for that price maybe, i doubt you will get a decent running GS for less than $7000
