Default Car waste more gas on freeway

Hi, my gs which is lowered on 19" rims wastes more gas on the freeway, as i barely drive 3 miles on the freeway i can SEE my gas meter drop noticeably more than CITY driving, do you guys know what the issue is? im driving at constant 65mph on the freeway with no traffic. makes no sense because i should be getting better gas mileage on the freeway instead of stop and go traffic

You can't really 100% rely on the gas gauge. To determine your MPG is to take the miles driven divided by gallons.

You can do it from full to empty, or 1/2 to empty or full. Basically anywhere, just have to find out how many gallons that is and how many miles you drove in that period.

Get a full tank of gas, drive and then get another full tank. You don't need to empty the tank all the way, you can do this when you're halfway through.

On the highway are you driving with your windows open? Are you driving with cruise control on and going up and down hills?

no im not i drive with my windows up and i dont use cruise control and im cruising on smooth straight road, i just think that maybe because my caster bushings are shot, its causing more drag on the freeway cus im driving faster?
