Anyone know why my radio is doing this?

Default Anyone know why my radio is doing this?

So ever since I got my car the radio doesn't show everything as you can see in the picture below...



It plays fine.. Works fine.. Just it doesn't show the radio stations and the numbers correctly-.- and doesn't show anything else other than the CD part on the left..

Anyone know what's wrong with it? Do I need to pull it out and check that wires are connected properly?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

U need to replace the screen most likely.

This happened to my 99 GS400, i took it to the dealership and they swapped in a new one for me.

lol they charge, you can do this yourself by just replacing the lcd display its like 130 bucks from pioneer

Or you could pickup a cheap pioneer headunit off of here...

I would do that later prolly. I have no $$$ to spend on a amp and sub atm, so yeah.

You can get it fixed, there is a member on another lexus forum that does the repairs. I can also sell you mine if you want.. for cheap.
