That's how I mounted mines too. Other people actually mounts them higher.

Yeah, I thought about fitting it higher. Then you have to adjust it and I honestly didn't care to bother that much. If it was a higher quality piece and was a better fit, I'd make it flush.

I've been looking at this roof spoiler en eBay. It looks very nice. Fitting looks good enough too. How's the paint quality?

And I would like to know how long that paint will last before the clear on it fades and you'll have to get it repainted. I mean it will depend regionally, but sitting at the top where the sun beats down on it, I would like to know if it can withstand the test of time.
