Default Hey Everyone! I'm a new owner of an '00 GS400

I found a close to pristine GS400 with a little less than 40k miles so I jumped on it and I'm now a proud owner. I've always liked the body shape and after the accident with the e39, I couldn't say no to the deal. Some pictures I took over the weekend.

What i had before the GS4

Ouch! Sorry about your E39, but congrats on your GS purchase! The GS looks mint, especially with only 40k miles. You will LOVE your new car.

I'm loving it already! I think the suspension is a bit soft so coilovers are probably going to be the first thing.

I was stunned. First owner, dealer maintained and garage kept. The guy had records since 2001.

This is a fine example of a thread jack and a post FAIL!

Regarding the originator of this thread: I love how the photos came out, you have some serious skills there mate!
Good luck with your GS, love how it looks absolutely mint!
And can't skip on saying that I just love NYC scenery and how it looks on your photos with a fine GS in them, brings back memories!

All I meant by the post was saying hey I got one recently too. With 70k miles fully loaded. I honestly didn't think anybody was gonna get butt hurt about it. Not like I
Posted 100 pictures of my car and wrote a huge paragraph saying hey look at my car it's better than his. That's not what I was doing by posting that. If I did offend the guy who started this thread I do apologize and congrats on the new car it's really clean and I hope you enjoy it.

Grats on your GS! It looks very clean.
How much did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking?
How do you like the GS overall compare to the E39?

+1

I was going to get the E39, but the wife preferred the GS. So I'd like to know also.

Very clean GS you have there !!

The seller wanted 12,500 but we settled at 10,800. The build quality of the GS is much better than the e39 but the handling of the e39 was the best I've ever drive in stock form. Power and acceleration of the GS4 is so much responsive than the 3.0 V6. I'm happy with the purchase and the accident was a blessing in disguise.
