Default Check Engine Light P0037

I got a CEL P0037 which says the following:
Oxygen sensor heater control circuit low 12
Probable cause
1. Open or short circuit condition
2. EFI relay fault
3. Failed AF radio sensor

I had a mechanically inclined friend tell me to just change the 02 sensor, then autozone said that might not fix it because its the heater circuit that's not working so its probably an electrical thing... Anyone experience this? I called a local lexus dealer and gave them that code and after about 15 minutes of waiting he said it was one of the 02 sensors that needed replaced and the cost of the part...

03 GS300 - 136k

02 sensor from them was around $110, OEM from a dealer was $215, worth it or just go with the Bosch one, if thats even what I need to do?

I went with the universal Bosch to replace all 4 of the O2 sensors and it fixed the CEL that I had. The job will require you to have an O2 sensor socket, and pliers to strip the wire. The wire locks that Bosch provide is really simple to use and will not require you to do any soldering.

Did you have the same CEL code? And why did you replace all 4!? Sounds expensive, also wondering how many miles yours had when it went out?

I forgot exactly which codes I got, but it indicates that all 4 O2 sensors were out. I had bought the car that way and I really don't know the mileage when the sensors went out.

It costs me about $275 to replace all four sensors.

Check out the following thread...especially post #5. Sounds like an O2 sensor.

Awesome, thanks! So whats the difference between the 2JZ-GE and the 1UZ-FE + 3UZ-FE?

I definitely found bank2 sensor 2, its just like the picture, under the carpet and into the exhaust. On the drivers side I do not see anything coming right out from under the pedal area - its all "enclosed", there is also not an exchaust pipe on that side at all like that picture shows?
Thoughts?

Do I have to rip out the carpet under the floor mats to get to this, thats kind of what it looks like.
This is partly the reason why I went with the universal Bosch. I didn't have to rip out any carpet to change the sensor that goes through the floor.

Gotcha - thanks. Ok well pulling the carpet up enough to get to B2S2 is pretty easy, just dont see where B1S2 is coming out from the floor...

If I open the hood and stand on the passenger side, I can see 3 of the 02 sensors 2 in the engine bay within about 12" of eachother, and the 3rd is the one I found under the passenger side. If I look at the grommett that goes to the B2S2 and look directly across, on the exact opposite side under the driver seat, there is a rubber gromett, but nothing coming out of it. I also peeled the carpet back as much as I could and didnt feel anything going down under the car as the picture describes... These pics are for an 03 gs300, right?
Any thoughts? Much appreciated.

Hrm...well I found this link:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mai...ode-p0141.html

Which looks great as I have seen this one...However, my 2 concerns are
1. Different CEL code - any issue with that? Guessing multiple error codes could all point to bank 1 sensor 2?
2. The diagram above is no where near correct....The one above says its under driver side and under the car - the picture on the thread above shows in the engine bay on the passenger side.
Thanks - this makes for a great Friday evening activity haha.
