Default Now what?

So I was jacking up my car to put the stock wheels on for the winter and somehow my jack took a poo and lowered itself on to a jackstand that was not in place yet,in other words it was right under the floor board. Now it looks like this:

In side the car there is now a big hump in the middle of the floor. I drove the car right after and there is no other issues as far as damage but what would be your guys' advice now?

Push the floor back down and weld the hole I guess.

I'm sorry you've been having so many problems with your car.

I think this would happen to most cars. This spot was just not designed to cope with the weight of the car.

wow that sucks ...bad stuff happens sometimes.... ever since i can remember working on cars i always always always test to see if stand fits and if it doesn't take it right out to jack up a little more out of fear that what happen to you ..might happen...

hammer back down and i would BE VERY CAREFUL with the welder ...i would say remove carpet where they gonna weld u don't want a FIRE. or maybe just get some type of sealant.. just my opinion

Like everyone said use a BFH to get the floor down.

If the whole is not compromising the structural integrity of the car you can put a rubber plug in it or use some construction adhesive or JB Weld like suggested above. Clean it up real good before sealing it and the coat it with some rustolium or undercoating once it has set.

please please remember to pull the carpet back or OUT if you're going to weld that back...the last thing you need is a fire.

Sorry to see that man! Like the others said, the metal is pretty soft so it should bend back to where it was pretty easily, then just weld up the holes and buy a new jack! Goodluck
