Ok as some may know, I just painted my car black with purple pearl. I have an old 98-00 grille sitting here and thought what the heck, lets paint it. I'd like to know how you think I should paint it

Paint entire grille same color as car

Paint only the black portion and keep the "L" and trim in chrome

Paint whole grille and trim, leave "L" chrome

Paint grille and "L" leave trim chrome

or Other (please leave suggestions)

I'd say leave chrome to compliment the headlights and rims, or paint to match the car if you're thinking of painting your headlight bezels to match the car at some point. Leaving the center "L" chrome isn't a terrible idea, but would be a better one if you had the 01+ grille with the slightly bigger emblem.

I failed to clarify I have the chrome one on to keep chrome I'm talking about the extra one I have. Just thought to have an extra one to be different every now and then.

I do wish I had an extra 01+ to do all car color. But yea, I wont touch the current chrome one
