First Gen GS Projectors.
Hey guys, some of you may know that i am obsessed with my headlights and lighting all around my car. LOL. (clear front and rear turn signals with freaking bright **** heck bulbs (polargs)) and my HID in my low beams and Piaa super plasma's in my fogs. honestly to tell you the truth the first Gen GS projector sucks big time. it doesn't distribute the light nicely as BMW, Audi, Mercedes. and newer lexus projectors. What i'm planning to do to my car next is try to go on e-bay and buy a set of projectors and retrofit them into my housing.
has anyone here done this before?? also how hard would it be. and how is the stock projector held in?? (screws) and what is a good way to hold the after market projector in??? thanks in advance.

the cut off line is great as in any projector. but the way the light gets shot out is in no way compared to for example BMW X5. the first generation headlight doesn't really cover all the areas. for example. the light patch is very short. not far at all. but its average wideness. also directly infront of the car there are black spots that no light gets to right in front of the car for like the first 5 feet or so. as for the BMW the light is directly visible right at the edge of the bumper which i like.
i was planning to eigther do the headlight or the fogs. but i think i'm gonna put projector's and real HID's in my fogs first i think it would be easier. i already have HID in my lows its bright but not where i want it.
