Default Window Not Working

Can anyone help me with this? My drivers side window does not roll up or down off and on and it is very sporadic. I have spent much time and money trying to get this fixed. The dealer said i needed a new window switch. So i bought it, got my mechanic to install it. Same problem. My mechanic said it's the regulator motor. Bought the regulator, got it installed, same problem. This is frustrating. What else would be the problem?

So both your entire window regulator assembly and switch have been replaced?

The only thing I can think of if both of these items were properly installed and etc. and it still doesn't work is the wire harness in your door. The one that goes from your door over to body (fender area). In the past I had the same issue with my camry and what happened is that couple wires inside of this wire harness cracked and were not connecting at all. I had to open it and replace broken wires.

It most likely is the switch. I was having issues with mine as I had a corroded switch it appeared and just ended up cleaning the contacts. That saved me spending any money, if you need a switch get it from a junker or Ebay.
