Looking for a way to get hard bass?
I have a 10" kenwood installed in my factory sub location with 350 watts coming to it does anybody have ideas where I can get a way so I can feel the bass in the steering wheel like by switching subs and adding a more powerfull amp and what brand would be preferred?

having a regular sub woofer in the stock location will not give you good bass. having it just sit there like that, without a box to enclose it is called ""free to air." this setup does not make your subwoofer very responsive nor very efficient. that is why u see a lot of audio nuts actually run a sub in a box, and utilize that original sub location as a "pass through" hole to allow the bass go into the cabin.

I was thinking about at 1200 watt kenwood 12" and a 1000 watt crunch might do the trick for a strong bass cause I really don't care about the rattles on the outside since Lexus has a heavy enclosure in trunks so getting a rattle feeling to other cars is gonna ask for a lot of investments.

Yes i have put a kicker cvr 10" in the stock location. Let me say the results were not satisfying at all. There was way too much rattling in the location. My advice to you is just get a box and throw the subs in there, my car slams right now and you can hear it from down the street. I sold the kicker and bought 2 JL W's 12s and threw them in a custom built ported box powered by a american bass 900 watt amp and they are underpowered right now P.S i love when my neighbors call the cops on me for them being too loud

One down side to the GS is that there is no trunk access from the back seat. So u will not really hear mid's/hights because the trunk is so sealed. What you could do is make some tiny holes in the carpet/upholstery, from the trunk, next/by the stock sub. Something sharp and hot works great. Also it looks wack faceing the other way. Last, when you open the trunk it sounds better. I am always chillin at a friends place playing music w/ the trunk open.
The best thing to go w/ tho is 12". I went threw 3 pairs of 10". 10" are crap.

Look into a bandpass port through box. Almost like a compression box but the port comes through the rear deck. you get zero trunk rattle and all your bass is in the car.
