Strange clunking noise from inside Propeller shaft (video inside)
To all the resident experts,
I am trying to track down the clunk between the gearbox to the diff when selecting from R-D when on steering lock (reversing out of the driveway), so I got under the car to do some investigating.
I checked the diff's mounting bushings (very little movement) and then to try and pin-point where this "clunk" I wedged the gearbox flexible coupling and also one rear wheel to stop them moving. This allowed me to check for any play between the drive-shafts/diff/spider-bearing etc by moving the free wheel.
I then came across this strange noise (see vid), its actually INSIDE the intermediate shaft when i move the free wheel with my other hand. Anybody know if this is normal???

(PS. I changes the 3 engine/gearbox mountings about 3 months ago),
