Need to diagnose this sound. Driver front window
Power works fine.. Rolls up and down with no problems..
Issue is I am having is a loud motor like sound when rolling the window down. Doesn't make the sound going up just down (every time)..
All of our windows make a noise when rolling the windows down. This sounds like the same sound, just amplified. It's is somewhat annoying and I would like to find a fix for it. Couldn't find anything specific related to this issue..
Tore into the front driver door. Off with the panel and speaker to see if I could find where this sound was coming from but could not pin point it...

Mine does the same thing and honestly - I think it's wear and tear. The most used window is the driver's side. If you replace the motor, it should be ultra quiet again, I heard some people try lube and what not, but I think that only helps the motorized parts of up and down, not the audible sound we're hearing....
