Thanks for the help.

see now the customer service is getting on my nerves....

called this morning at 9:15 central time, since i was supposed to have a call back no later than the 3rd (according to them) and here it is the 8th and IM having to call them, guy tells me my representative who is working on my case doesnt come in for another 45 mins or so and he will have him call me, well 6 hours l8r no return phone call yet so im sitting on hold with customer service....

regardless of whether they gonna help me or not this is some lousy customer service.....IMHO of course

EDIT: 20 MINS with 6 spent on hold....they cannot get the guy passing a note to his supervisor and him and the lady today promises someone will call me back today.

fingers crossed i guess

EDIT AGAIN: 4:19 talked to my local representative, he's gotta talk to a local field guy and the local place and he's gonna call me back tomorrow

Time to let it go. You ran it up the tree, and I'm very surprised it got even this far. The car hasn't been under warranty in some time, and there are myriad parts that if damaged could be dangerous. They cannot simply cover them until the end of time or there would be no point in specifying a warranty period. Clearly something damaged the element, causing the burning of the seat, but that is not Lexus fault and they shouldn't be held accountable for it.

Default Seat Heaters

Sakataj I made a post on my seat heaters probably about two years ago. Whenever I turn my driver side seat heater on it gets real hot to the point of where it actually burns my butt. I searched treads and couldn't find anyone with similar situations. So for the past year I haven't even tried to turn my seat heaters on. I thinks its messed up that they wouldn't even help you with the labor.

Default Heated Seats in 2010 RX 350

Things break and need repair or replacement from time to time with any manufacturer. That said the newer Lexus heated seats do not heat enough. Lexus appears not to care. Guess it is time to find another manufacturer.
