Default wheel fitment suggestions

i was just wondering if these 20" rims are to aggressive and if it requires modding, just for future reference here is the size 20X8.5"/20X10" 4" REAR LIP
+35 & +40 OFFSET and of course i am planning on lowering the car but how low should i go to play it safe or do you think it is just a bad idea to go with that size and offset or should i go with 19" and if so what size and offset without rolling the fender and shaving it. i would like it to sit flush any opinion its most appreciated here.

Depends on your definition of flush. Compared to some on here, this set would be very safe specs. If you don't do anything else (camber, stretch, ...), the rear might need a TINY shave, if at all. What tire specs are you planning to run?

well i just want it to sit close to the rear fenders w/o any shaving. because i really hate wheels that don't sit close and just want to close the gap between wheel and fenders. the recommended sizes are 245/35/20 and also 275/30/20. Now I have been really debating on 19's or 20's and i have read the thread about peoples opinions on the sizes on which they like the most. because i do want to lower the car as well but looking for certain springs and shocks for the setup. i have seen mostly everyone rocking the mrr gt1 but i just don't like the 4" lip in the back i think that is to much over kill for the back when you got a 2.5" in the front knock it back a 1/2" on the lip for the rear then that would be cool with me. im still window shopping for wheels of course just trying to narrow down to the final decision on what i like.

that is a safe setup, wont need to modify any of your fenders even with lowering. if car is lowered, you may just get a very little little little bit of rub at full wheel crank when entering or leaving an inclined drive way

do you have any pixs of your gs300 which i see in their that you have chrome gt1 i have been looking for someone that has a set on them just wanted to see if they look alot better out of the other 2. and how much of a drop can i go with just shocks and springs?

those sizes are very conservative you should have no issues

what are a good set of lowering springs should i go with i am not looking at an aggressive drop now remember i am trying to avoid shaving and rolling. thanks for the opinions i will keep it in mind on the wheel size. now all i need to know is how low can i drop the car before it starts rubbing?

i agree, roll and shave those fenders while you're at it, it'll look MUCH better

For Reference..

I'm lowered 2" in the rear, my 20x10 wheel has a 25mm offset.

In order for this to work I had to cut/shave my rear vendors, you will be fine on the front, try to stick with a 30 series though to prevent top of tire from rubbing on inner fender well lining up front, sometimes that lining sags and it slightly rubs against tire, it's safe to ride like this, but sounds bad lol.

When the suspension fully compresses in the back the rear tire completely tucks and there is like 1mm of room for the wheel to just tuck into the fender. I'm using a 255/30/20...



I bet with a 255 on the back and your 45mm offset you will not need shaving.

Your rear is 20x10 with 45mm offset and mine is 25mm offset.

45mm-25mm=20mm, 20mm = .78" and that's about the same size of the inner lip of the rear fender that I shaved off.

well i do like to have a nice offset for it to run smooth with the car i just would like to see what it would look like with this setup everybody has opinions of their own on their setup. if it doesn't look right to my likings yes i will shave and roll but not right now. thanks SHiZNiLTi 255 looks good on your car now that would give me a good ball park where i need to be then thanks.
