My car is going half throttle, i press the peddle down for it to move... i checked the throttle body and bought a new one and it works fine the dealer said....but now they are saying its the ecu thats giving me the problem..so now im waiting on a ecu but the part number i have is 89661-3a550 for my ecu is discontinued, so now they tell me 89661-3a551 is the ecu i have to get which is the replacement ecu of my original one...Can someone please tell what the problem maybe so i dont have to blow anymore money for nothing...Thanks....also my rpm's are high as soon as i start the car most of the time 1300 rpms sometimes 2000

 

what does RPM drop to when you shift from park into drive?

I'd say stop buying parts just to throw $$ at it. Find the problem then fix it. Also I think dealer will charge you $1,200 or so for an ECU. You can get them used, in working condition, on ebay for $60-$150 with a short warranty.

Have you tried unplugging MAF to see how car functions w/o MAF?

 

when i shift to drive it drops normal...but when i press the peddle i only get half throttle...i end up buying the wrong ecu the first time that had the part number 89666-30030 so now im selling that now cause i have no use for it...but yes i unplug the maf and bought new positioin sensor and everything 3 different machanics told me lol...but now im waiting on this other ecu to come in the morning i bought from ebay 89661-3a551 which i was told that will work and now i have to worry about getting it flashed..
