haha, all good.... ya I'll probably end up going back to a 255/30 again once these 245/35's on the rear wear out then it will match better with the front, but at the time the cheapest I could find a 255/30 for was around $200 and didn't feel like dishing out the extra cash.

These tires are called http://www.achillestires.com/ the guy at the shop says that they wear very well.. I think they have a 400 tread wear rating or something like that. Looks like you can pick them up online for around $100, not sure on shipping though.

There's a few users on vipstylecars.com forums that use these tires and really like them.

Man I must be getting better deals than I though on tires! I get Perelli P-Zero Neros 255/35/20 for $150 installed and the same in 245/30/22 for $175 installed... I better count my blessings

Edit: They arent neros, just P-zero's ($400 tire )

Nice hookup!!! Now that I check out the invoice these were actually $110 installed, but it looks like he charged me another $20 for removing the tires from the front and putting them onto the rear and balancing all 4.

Crazy how cheap 22" pzero's are compared to the 20"

I forgot about your 22's Jokester, hows that system holdin up?

I re-fuse to lose
**** them 22's
I got an AP 10 and a throwaway Tech N9ne
$

that doesnt look right. Tirerack usually has retarded expensive prices and the P-zeros cost almost double that everywhere I looked and what I get them for is less than cost everywhere I went to check... The 20" price looks right, the 22 doesnt. how much more to ship?

Nice, I've wanted to do black with bit of blueish silver pearl in it back when I had the black blaze with the (2) 18" subs.

Yea after I did the pearl I would have rather of put the pearl in the paint than in the clear... Not dissatisfied though.

man, its been so long since I've used the 255/35/20's. However, I think I would remember them being loud. But then again I really never had my radio off I want to say no noise. My favorite part of these on both the 22's AND the 20's is how they grab the road! (which was and is my motive to continue using them) It took a bit of getting used to cause they would grab every crack in the road thus giving great handling improvements. I will say though that the 30 series on my 22's are much noisier for obvious reasons

haha damn them 22"s.
at least they look good. but yeah i know what you mean. i RARELY have my raio off, and rarely is it not blasting. lol but ocassionally it is and damn the noise bothers me. or even just knowing that the noise is there either way bugs me quite a bit. ive had quite a few people say "wow why is your car so noisy now? it used to be SOO QUIET!!". kinda feels like an insult! =(
makes me a little sad. and i remember people when i used to be on the phone while driving i always had people on the other end of the line say "your driving?! it sounds super quiet" and it always felt good to know i had a nice quiet smooth car,so i miss that now. i wana get i back.
however, like you say, that nice grip from some bad *** tires is pretty awesome. hard to get the best of both worlds. but i guess considering that i drive pretty slow most of the time and rarely hit turns or any agressive driving, i guess id prefer some quiet tires . any good recomendations?
