Car loses control under wet conditions? Please help.
Whenever I drive on wet roads my car seriously just loses control to the point where I can't control it at all especially in the rear. My steering wheel goes with it also and it's only under wet conditions and when it rains.. I have negative toe in the rear, but I don't think that'd be the culprit? Usually it's not to bad and it jsut kind of shifts from left to right time to time but today when I was driving home I was on a straight I kind of pushed it a little to about 50 just to see what would happen and see if it'd be more severe and my thoughts were right... The car immediately swerved after about going 45-50 for 5-10 seconds and threw me into thte next lane and almost into the curb..
I mean the car locks and just threw itself, it was severe, nothing I could control. Any thoughts? Bushings maybe?
I'm getting my new FIGS toe links in the next couple of weeks to correct the toe alignment and was planning on replacing all my bushings with Daizen bushings..
Anyone have any other thoughts other than that? Please help my car is basically dangerous to drive in rain/wet roads.

Keep traction control on.
Make sure your tires are not worn out.
Don't accelerate suddenly in wet weather.
Any rear wheel drive car with decent torque will go squirrely in wet or snow conditions. You have to drive accordingly.
I have been driving for over thirty years and every car I have owned has been rear wheel drive. From mega-muscle cars to tame four bangers, I driven them all but I still take care when road conditions warrant. There's lots of sunny weather days to have some fun. Just wait for the right time.

Lexus: I don't accelerate hard in the rain, I drive very cautious when it's like this because I know that my car tends to lose control.
Vwynn: My car is aligned it's just that they weren't able to get the rear toe into spec and from research I found out that the toe links on the GS tend to bend and are not able to be adjusted properly, hence me buying the FIGS toe links.
Newgs: Just a little.

That right there is probably the culprit. When our rear end toe is not correctly aligned, it's going to be quite loose back there. I installed FIGS toe link to Masboy's car and you could tell the toe was off after we lowered the car to the ground. When he drove his car home, he was telling me about how the car was so twitchy because the rear end would want to drift around even to the littlest imperfection on the road. What is your rear toe at right now?
