Take a lot of work to fit or sit flush? Please elaborate. If your just concerned about it fitting you should be fine, to sit flush you may even need a spacer if I'm not mistaken.

just to fit really, I'm sure if they did then they'd be pretty flush. I'm not too worried about needing a spacer, I'd rather that right now honestly. I figured it would be pretty close if not stick out a bit. I'm not dropped yet, but will be on coils(at least at first) soon enough. I just don't have the time to put the car into the shop to have the fenders reworked.

Ya I think you should be good, I take back my previous comment about a spacer, but I still don't think it'll stick out. You should be good.

I'm considering throwing on some bbs reps in 19x8.5 all around with +40 offset. The tires are 245-40-19. My car is dropped (not slammed) and I have no fender mods. I'm sure these will clear fine but will they be too sunk in? Any suggestions? To make them fit more aggressive would you guys suggest spacers? If so what size? Thanks!

Why square set up with 8.5s? With those offsets, probably 25/30 spacer

What do you guys think of these.....
19x8.5 +15
19x9.5 +20

What kind of mod do i need and what are your suggested tire size?

I will be lowering my car on Megan EZ. Moderate drop. Nothing crazy.

I am going with some BMW 7 Series wheels on my 2GS, with shaved rear and rolled front fenders. 19x9 and 19x10 with +5 offsets all around. A friend use to have the same set up and it sat flush on his GS. However when I get them on my car, dropped with maxed out camber it isnt sitting as I expected, tire is basically sitting on the tire. Anyone know why this may be?

Am I gonna have to adjust my coilovers even lower to get the tires to cave in more? I believe about 12mm of tires still needs to be tucked.

With those sizes you shouldn't need any fender mods, you should just be good to go, as for tires, maybe 225/35/19 F 235/35/19 R

Don't really understand what you mean by "tire is basically sitting on the tire" also I don't see how dropping your car even further will alleviate any clearance issues. I understand it may add more camber but if 12mm is still in question that means you would need atleast 2.5 more degrees of negative camber to make it fit which I doubt you'll accomplish by lowering your car even further. Please elaborate... Also there are tons of threads with this specific setup where I'm sure you could more easily find your answer. Or just ask your friend who used to have it. GL

Sorry about that, I meant "fender" not tire. I guess I'll have to go with some figs arms, probably gonna need them in the long run anyways. Thanks for the insight though.

So I'm lowered on BC coils atm and i have 19x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in the rear. It's time for new tires and a bunch of friends say i should go for the stretched tire look. Right now i have 235/35/19f and 275/35/19r, they're saying i should go for 225/35/19f and 245/35/19r, good or bad idea? Idk too much about tires so i thought i would ask the community what they think.

You could even run a 215 in the front and a 235 on that rear. 225/245 would be safe though. Not much stretch to it.
