Wheel width/offset/size and tire fitment Q&A thread

I would suggest going down on the width of your front tires by 10mm. That should do the trick.

These fenders I know are very delicate so I wanna take care of this ASAP! So should I just play it safe and go for a 225/35 ?

Hi I have a stock 2001 gs300 that I plan to drop a bit, but not slam. And I was going to get 18x7.5 +35 rims on front and rear. What size tires should I get on those? I'm quite new when it comes to car stuff so I have no idea and if someone could help that's be great!
And if someone could give me tips on a good setup id appreciate that too!

Do you think that the Eibachs are not as good of a spring since you mentioned the Tanabes? I saw that with the Eibachs they say you can use your original shocks which I would prefer. As far as a difference between height on a Eibach to an NF, I wonder if it would be different?

As for that size its pretty weak. I hope you haven't paid for them yet. Our vehicles are quite large and the wheels you've picked a pretty small wheel. If you want to run a conservative setup that requires no fender mods or stretched tires etc. I would recommend a 18x8 at least or 18x8.5 with a offset between 30-40 and run a 245/40R18

Hi everyone my g35 sedan was recently totaled and i have always wanted to build a GS and plan to pick one up soon, i am very familiar with fitment and stance and i just had a couple questions to familiarize myself with what a GS is capable of fitment wise.
I plan to run 19s on my GS and i was wondering how wide you can get with a roll and a decent pull front and rear, i plan to run negative camber and stretched tires.
What coilovers would you guys recommend to get slammed and any recommended camber and toe kits?
i know these questions may have been answered many times before but i just wanna get to know what i can do with a GS before i buy one.
Really would appreciate the help! haha

Most if not all your questions will be answered in the thread...

Also - what you're asking is a very relative question. Everyone has their favorite coilover setup. Everyone's opinion of "a decent pull" is varied. I suggest you search, find someone who has the exact setup you want and use their setup as your starting point. Trust me - it's all been done before and you likely won't be the first to do anything on these cars. So finding the setup you want shouldn't be too difficult. Try searching www.rimtuck.com
