Wheel width/offset/size and tire fitment Q&A thread
#796
So i just ordered wheels. I ordered 19x9.5 +12 front and 19x10.5 +12 rear. My rears and fronts are slightly rolled and pulled. Im thinking of running 225/35/19 up front and 235/35/19 in the rear. Think this is a good set up? I tried my friends 18x10.5 +22 and it was tucking in while lowered so i figured why not go with +12. I noticed a lot of people run low offsets

Trying find something
Hey guys I have 99 gs300. Bc coilovers. Twin turbo supra brake calipers in front. I'm looking at cc10 19x9.5 +12 and 19x11 +15. Will these fit. I can do fender roll. I have access to fender roller and fender puller( pusher). Or if any can help me find something nice that I can run. I'm considering the varrstoen equip replicas also.
The seller says it will fit. But I kinda don't believe them cuz they said yes it will fit before I told them about my brakes or anything. Once I said lexus. I'm kinda low. And I drive a lot about 100 miles a day. So I think I should be scared of camber.

Back to your question: I should first ask what kind of tire setup do you plan on running? If you don't mind something stretched like mikexsc3 above, then the fronts will fit with a roll/slight pull (or by camber fitting) but the rears will require either more pulling, or more camber.
For anyone looking into visual helps for fitment, I'd recommend the following sites:

19x9.5+12 19x11+15
So I went ahead and ordered the wheels. Havnt done this before. Would be my first stanced setup. Is there a set amount I should pull it. And I would like to run widest possible tires I have GTE vvti swap.
Thanks again to all.
Thanks again to all.

The best way to do it would be to figure out what tire setup you want, buy the tires, then go from there. It's difficult to go "by eye" when doing fender work. Best to just have the wheel setup there and fit the car to them properly.
Another thing, unless you're familiar with rolling the fenders on a GS, take it to a body shop as they're prone to dimples/waves.

I was wondering if 18x10.5 +15 would fit up front without any spacers and if it would clear the stock brakes on my gs300? the fenders have a slight roll and was thinking of using a 245/40 or 245/35. Im running a 18x9.5 +10 right now with a 225/40. Thanks in advance.

Picking up a GS today but the guy is keeping his wheels. I will be putting on some wheels I have sitting in the garage from my now sold LS to get it home maybe an hour away via highway.
The wheels are 19x9.5 +35 255/40/19 P Zero Nero all around. I know this is noticeably taller then stock but should I expect rubbing? I know my setup sticks .6inch more inward and outward then his.
The seller is running a 19x8.5 +35 and 19x9.5 +35 with 225/40/19 all around on staggered wheels for some reason and I verified his fenders are not rolled.

I currently have 19 inch wheels that I was going to either go for step lip or stay reverse lip and have them refinished.
I've been leaning towards going step lip which will make the rims 20 inches after. I'm on air suspension, how do these setups sound?
20x9.5 ~+25 wrapped in 225/30
20x10.5 ~+25 wrapped in 235 (or245/255) /35
or if I go with 19" reverse lip
19x10 ~+15 wrapped in 225/35
19x11 ~+25 wrapped in 245/35
^ is this too aggressive?

19s are perfect from my experience.
You may need to slightly pull the fronts, I had 19x9.5 +12 and it rubbed pretty nasty when turning on an incline, but my car was pretty low back then. Since you'll have bags it shouldn't be an issue.
Rear will be fine with just a shave.

I just picked up some 19x9 & 19x10 +20 on both for my 3gs and would like to stay away from spacers but will roll or pull fenders if I have to. I was thinking 235 or 45 in the front but I'm stumped on the rear. I'm not lowered yet but I plan to be.
