Sorry for late response, not a power car by any means. Just wanted to see how it would fit.

Default Need Help With Fitment

Im going to finally take off the MRR HR3 wheels and going with some Ordens. I want the most aggressive look possible with 19s and for the rear I want to run 275 tires. I've been told so many different stories. One vendor told me the widest I can go is 10 +20 in the rear and another told me 19x10.5 +26 or 19x11 +20 with the fenders pulled. I posted a pic of what Im going for but would like a little more lip. Not sure who's car it is but it looks good.

Dude I’m running 19x9.5 up front with a 255/35 and 19x10.5 rear with a 305/30. My et is 12 all around. I have rolled and pulled fenders

Your car looks amazing. The vendor I plan on purchasing my wheel from is telling me I should go with 9" up front and 10" ET20. 51mm dish on the front and 63mm on the rear. Im thinking this would be a little weak. I just got the Aristo swap done and my car spins with ease, I want as much meat in the back as possible but also have a nice agressive look as well.

There's room to go in under the fenders like 11 low 40's offset an run 305's or even more like 11.5 or 12 with higher offsets but it doesn't seem to be common with wheel choices for GS owners here. Most go for the poke and stretch setup.

So I could go with 19x11 +40 with a 305 and not have to do much pulling on the fenders? What would you suggest for the front? And thanks for the help, trying to have them purchased by the weekend.

Indeed, these cars have a fair amount of room if you're willing to do some work. I've had 20x10.0 front and 20x12.0 rear for years!

Correct shouldn't need much pulling, sidewall will be a factor too. Front's I'm still getting familiar with on this chassis 10 up front with right offset upper 30's maybe should be fine.

Agreed, lots of room to go wide wheel and tire similar to the SC and Supra.

Just FYI, offset shouldn't have any impact on tire size because it doesn't impact the *external* geometry of the wheel. I currently run 245/40/R18 on 18 x 8.5 wheels. The stockies that came on the 2GS were 16 x 7.5 (same width as your desired setup) and the tire specifications were 225/55/R16, so you can probably get away with anywhere between 195 and 225 on the width, depending on how much stretch you want (you might even be able to go lower, I'm just not very familiar with stretched setups - tyrestretch.com is your friend!).

As for the sidewall ratio, that depends on a lot of factors. If you're trying to keep the overall wheel/tire size the same as stock, you'll have to get pretty thin tires. It all depends on what look you're going for and how uncomfortable you're willing to make the ride to get the look you want (since thinner tires = less rubber = harsher ride). I highly recommend using a tire/wheel calculator as a benchmark for fitment.

Hope this was helpful!

225/35-20

7.5 +38 is an extremely mild fitment, it does not require any stretch. The wheels will still be sunk in the wheel wells.
Overall diameter of 215/60-16, the largest OEM tire size is 26.2".
Overall diameter of 225/35-20 is 26.2".

Picked up some used wheels just wondering what tires do i put on it.
Theyre 19 / 8.5 +40 (all around), also what size spacers for a flush gapless look.
no fender mods currently.

Prep for paint.
Sanded. 400grit then 600grit
Painted. Rustoleum gloss white. 7cans total.
Feather 2 light coats. 2 medium coats. (No Clear Coat)

Cured for 24 hours. Ill be mixing the lugs like that. Only have 3 center caps. Might just not use them.
Since i didnt get much opinions on tires for my size wheels. I just decided to wrap them in 235/35r19 all around. I think these are perfect for this size. How ever seeing the set up now. I think i want them skinnier maybe 215/35r19 is this considered stretching them ?
All balanced and good to go. Little harsh comfort wise. But “whooooo cares” lol jk, im alright with it. I was thinkin 40 series but 35 isnt as bad as i thought. Heres how it looks on the car. Im thinking roll the fenders. And spacer it about 25mm.
