about a month late, sorry but new to this lol. i'm running 18x11+10 squared so basically the same, minus diameter. the rears are pulled & shaved to the max. fronts fit just fine

Yours will not look like that because you have completely different sizes.

Correct, the rear is similar in width and offset. The front is not; also there is an inch difference of diameter and the different widths will change the size and fit of the tires.
i just picked up a 00 gs300. stock everything. snagged a set of 18x8 +45, and 18x8.5 +50 wheels. will be lowered on BC coilovers next month and wanted to know whats my ideal tire size. the common websites like willtheyfit, and wheelsize dont really have an accurate view imo of whats capable of being fit on here. i dont plan on being super slammed. been there on past projects. not to thrilled to do that again. most likely lower just enough to kill the wheel gap.
was thinking 245/40/18 up front and 255/40/18 out back. is this too anemic? i know the wheels are not super wide so i cant fit some beastly setup but i still want to maximize what i have. thanks in advance.

Oookay I messed up. Bad. From what I'm understanding, I'm gonna need like 30mm spacers or larger to drop the numbers on these wheels and bring them way out. Is that gonna nuke my wheel bearings?

I figured since the rear wheel has a +50 its gonna be buried in the car.if i add a 30mm spacer , wouldnt that push it towards the fender and make it a +20? or am i doing it wrong? ill get a chance to work it this weekend finally to see what needs to be done

please bear with me. ive never had decent wheels. these will be temp wheels with spacers that will later fund a 3 piece setup after ive lowered and done body work

Just FYI, the recommended rim width for a 265/35 is usually at least 9". 275/30 does not appear to be a readily available tire size, from any manufacturer, but it would also be recommended to use a minimum 9" wheel for a 275 tire.
If you're actually saving up for other things, just throw on a 235/40 in the front, a 245/40 in the rear and call it a day. Both sizes are within recommended spec, and affordable.
New front wheel
18x8", 45mm offset
9" measured rim width
4.5" centerline
6.27" backspacing
0.2" increased clearance between front spindle and vertical plane of inner rim edge
0.2" decreased differential between front fender and vertical plane of outer rim edge
New rear wheel
18x8.5", 50mm offset
9.5" measured rim width
4.75" centerline
6.72" backspacing
0.25" decreased clearance between rear spindle and vertical plane of inner rim edge
0.25" decreased differential between rear fender and vertical plane of outer rim edge
In short, you don't need spacers because all the dimensions are so close to the stock wheels. The stock wheel offset is 50mm, but I think you may have been thinking it was drastically different.
If you want to stay within tire manufacturer recommended specs and properly match the OEM tire diameter, you should go 245/40/18 all around, which is kind of aggravating when you have staggered wheels. When I was making my decision on new wheels, I went with four 18x8.5" 45mm rears instead of doing a pointless 0.5" stagger that doesn't allow for significantly different tire sizes, and so I could keep the ability to do a front-rear rotation.
