For those of you that are planning to purchase the hacked T1S software. The hardware cannot be updated as said from the seller. Even though, in the instructions said you should update your firmware before using it. The OBD II generic data works and the Customization works. But others like ABS, AIR BAGS, ETC cannot be checked!

 

Just curious... Who else bought this T1S program from Ebay???

Im still in the same boat, can't get the drivers installed on Win7....guess I will have to buy a cheap old laptop just for Techstream....

 

Are you having trouble getting it to work? I'm just curious, I am interested in ordering it myself just had alot of people tell me it's such a hassle not to bother..

You returned the product? I say you keep it. As I mentioned, you can still check OBD 11 Generic/Manufacter Data and Customize your setting (C-Best settings)

I suggest you install the program and see if you are able to update the drivers. And check to see if yours can read ABS.

The product you listed doesn't have acesss to Techstream like the T1S.

I had another member PM me, nickname Hutch, he bought this wire at the same time as you and he's got the latest hardware version, same as mine. You should just demand the seller to exchange it for you.

 

As Och said, I might not have the latest version. You should install it first and try it out first Brian.

Och, thanks for the files. I have talked to the seller many times about the product, but it seems she doesn't even know about her product that she is selling! She even tried to persuade me to buy her "better line" and willing to give me a discount. I don't think she is willing to give me an exchange. I haven't got time to install it yet. But I will keep you posted. Thanks again Och.
