Lolz. I have the same issue. I never figured it out. If anyone has any idea, please help us! It kind of sounds like a rock rolling around in the center console for me though.

Default Air in your coolant system

There is too much air in your coolant system. Me and my dad had the same issue with our Gs. We fixed both cars by opening the radiator cap a little when the car was heated to let the air seep out. Use a towel and becareful not to open the cap all the way and let the coolant spray you or get on your skin. Also, your coolant level maybe low when the car is cool check your radiator and the reserve. I know for sure this is the issue you are having. When I first bought my GS the problem drove me crazy. When I would accelerate from a complete stop it sound like someone was pouring a bottle of water down my console.

I had a problem with a dripping sound too. The problem was transmission fluid being under filled. the rocks rolling sound... um.... didn't have that problem.

HAHAHAH i had the same problem about 6 months ago!!! What you do is fill your coolant back up and release all the air bubbles. TROUBLE-T was right.

I had the same sloshing sound on starting and stopping. It was air in the cooling system. Stupid jiffy lube guys checked the coolant by opening the radiator cap. That will do it. Had to go to the dealer to get it fixed. Next time, told the jiffy lube guy DO NOT OPEN THE RADIATOR CAP!! What did they do? Opened the radiator cap. No more jiffy lube visits for me after that.

Yup. I had this problem with my GS430 too. It has to do with where Lexus decided to mount the heater core. Bottom line is that it's air trapped in the cooling system.
