yea...I'm not one to drop that much on a motor I don't know much about. The only reason I got jacked from JPI was because I just didn't have time to mess with my car while I was opening up my bodyshop and went by what others experienced with him...Never again will i be that bad with my cash. I've priced out what a build would cost me by Boost Logic. Those guys are good, they know what they're doing as well. I've been looking for a stock motor and they still are expensive.

Being patient is not my strong suit, I don't often sit and read through the whole thread because people A) often don't know what their talking about and B) are boring and ask the same things over. Next time I should read a little bit more carefully. So is it or is it not the specs that were posted in the thread?
as for the bold NO its not i misquoted whose they belong to...actually those speaks are the guy below me's build, aka TTurbopimp
That being said, you really have no background on the history of this set up. Did it have any issues, how long has it been sitting, is it all still operating correctly, etc, etc.. If you were to buy his set up and end up having to rebuild it, what are you really gaining over starting from scratch? Do the math and see if it works out, maybe it will, but take the worst case scenario and take the time to add things up and compare if you did it on your own from scratch.
You also have to take into account all of the other supporting things you need to make it work right. Your not going to just drop this stuff in and call it a day....it aint that easy!!

this was a matter i spoke about with thomas also about, the motors history or lack there of...
a particular issue i was concerned with was how long it had been sitting on the shelf, if it still had fluid in it,and privately thomas and i did mention the concern of it needed a rebuild it may not be worth it.
also thomas really isnt interested in anything but the long block to use with his SC. so the fact that its missing some of the IC/piping etc isnt a concern to him, least thats what i gathered from his info
