Default Which color would u do?

Wzup CL! Gona paint my brake calipers soon and was wondering if you think
gloss black w/white lexus decal or...
gloss red or orange w/black decal
would go best on my white gs?

Also guna be doing new lug nuts. Plus new cross drilled/slotted rotors all the way around with new brake pads/ss brake lines.

I swear at some point the modding has got to stop. Almost there.

decisions........well all 3 would look great just depends who you ask.
If you want a little flash orange and red will do the job, if you want clean low pro go black. I have a white GS too and they were already painted black and its pretty plain Jane. Personally I'd go red, I have red calipers on my other car and love it.

always a recommended easy add on items while you doing this (yes i see you doing them already OP but i had already typed it before i noticed you said u were lol), upgrade pads, rotors,SS lines, synthetic brake fluid and i did my ball joints at the same time

dont do red, they look great at first but they start to fade and turn a burnt orange look EVEN with me having clear coated them. if i had to do it again i def wouldnt do red

yea...the previous owner on my car had the calipers painted red. I was so embarrassed about that part on my car. I never got around to painting them silver to look semi stock. Now I just went with a BBK

Painting stock calipers is definitely hit or miss. That's why I say do black with your choice of color for the Lexus logo.

Black calipers can easily blend in to your wheel well and a little color for the logo wont turn heads, but might add that touch of flavor that you're looking for

Agreed... the OE brakes are nothing to write home about.

On my brother's GS I painted his calipers "Engine Builders Cast Grey" basically a matte finish charcoal. They look clean and not rusty, but don't draw your eyes to them. Let the wheels speak for themselves!

Also, are people still doing Lexus logos on calipers? Is this in case you forget what kind of car you have? I have never understood this. Why not paint "Lexus" on the wheels, too?

This mod is so 2005...
