Well one of my DRL's went out yesterday, so I decided to go ahead and get my HID's on both my DRL's and my low-beams. Sorry in advance for REALLY crappy pics.. They're w/ my phone.

I didn't have the money to do my 3K fog lights atm, so I just turned them off and am just running low beams/DRL's when driving.

If I can steal my moms camera i'll try and get some better pics of them.

Specs;

Low Beams - 6K HID's
DRL's - SMD Lights
Fog Lights (Soon to come) - 3K HID's

not a fan of PNP hid's...they are blinding and dangerous to other drivers imo.

Mmm pardon my ignorance.. PNP? I thought all HID's were just you know.. HID's..?

 

PNP = plug n play. Pretty much hes talking about putting HID kits on cars that did not originally come with it. It produces glare that blinds the people that are coming towards you. hence why i said glare. If you notice the HID's on the GS400 they are nice n clean mainly because the bowls are specifically design to use HID D2R Bulbs.. whereas your lights.. the bowl is design for halogen 9006 bulbs. 2 different animals.

 

Ahh I see I see.. Makes perfect sense. Yeah 98 GS's didn't come w/ HID compatible as far as I know from reading up.

Makes me sad heh. There's no way to 'fix' this glare?

 

Well I feel kind of dumb.. Spent $130 for those HID's and installation..

Coulda just spent $70 more and got these.. New housing and everything..
