I don't feel that bad anymore...I've spent somewhere between 15K-20K and I know I'm going to keep on going until I realize I have no more money...

Don't remember and frankly don't care and I am thinking about adding some serious power adders to both my GS400 and GS300.

Question ?

The mod bug got me too. When I first strated my mods. I thought OK I will only install the RAZO carbon fiber pedals & clear bumper lights. $12,000 later I have spent quite a bit on my car. Now that I am gonna have to start my project again I think I may end up doing things a little different this time around. I will try to spend a little less but I doubt it.

Paul

This is what happens when you love your GS.

My problem is I lost my first one. I'm gonna end up doing it all over again. I havenb't learned my lesson.

I easily spent over 15k in engine tuning parts alone. With rims and aero parts probally over 20k. Once I upgrade to a single turbo and put in higher cams that will be close to another 10k I need to win the lottery...

1-Alot of CL members GOT RIPPED OFF when purchasing mods.
or 2-This thread is in SERIOUS need of the little BULL**** FLAG....

Ive been around this board long enough to know that what seperates the 12-15K mod croud from the 30k+ AFTERMARKET mod members is ALMOST always one of three things......
1-REAL Aristo owner(dont remember names) with SICK amounts of engine mods+ all of the traditional mods....
2-An SRT alumnus(Stage 2 SC or higher....Mr. Johnson, itsallgood, etc.)+all of the traditional mods.
3-A A/V freak(Percy, etc.)+all the traditional mods.....

If you dont fit one of above three categories and you STILL have over 30k in AFTERMARKET additions, YOUR *** GOT RIPPED OFF buy whoever you bought from and/or whoever did your installs....
I will be happy to post the word doc that I use to keep a running tab on all of my mod expenditure...needless to say, you can get ALOT for 12-15k!!!!

Tiny,

I'd like to see that word doc, would be interesting. I was just thinking about putting together a quick total for mine. I've got a list of all my mods on my website and I guessed when I responded (without adding it all up) that I fall probably over the 20K mark. Labor adds up too when you don't do it all yourself.

It also looks like people counted multiple sets of wheels & tires in their total which runs totals up fast. Also 'real deal' bodykits / bodywork can add up quickly.

My list (no math yet).... I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
