idle speed at 1200r/m OK to engage drive ?
Hi,
Continue yesterday's question that my car normally take about 3 mins to warn up, normally I wait till idle speed drop at 1200r/m I engage to DRIVE gear.
But every time at this speed engaged, I can feel the car a small movement ahead - a bit of rough.
But if I wait longer -- say 5 mins warn up, the idle speed will drop to lower 900r/m, and engage will be more smoothly.
If I keep engage like at 1200r/m for long time, this will possible damage gear or gear box ?
Did your guys every time start your GS300 always wait 3 mins and then engage to drive gear ?
Thanks
