Hey, I'm in the market for a "new" used 2001 GS300. I've found one that I like but I was wondering what I should look for in the car before I purchased it? What are some common problems you guys have faced after hitting the 100k mile mark, and what maintenance should have been done by this point? Thanks

Timing belt for sure. It's part of the 90k maint, but make sure that they've done it, because if not then you'll be looking at about 1k in maint cost just for that as soon as you get the car.
Also i'd check lower ball joints and tie rods. Maybe even shocks?
Personally for state of mind i'd also change the oil, oil filter, transmission, clean the TB, MAF, throw some injector in your gas tank, seafoam the car, differential fluid, engine air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs (check for leaking gasket when you're in there doing spark plugs)... Of course these are things to do if you get the car. Just small maint things that'll get the car feeling like new and make you a happy camper.
