the thing about it is we already have a stock one on our cars. But it's thin. So maybe that's why I don't feel the difference

I decided to go the cheap route and buy that lower brace off of ebay. It is similar to the carbing lower brace or perhaps it is that brace but just given a different branding. Anyhow, the brace won't clear the exhaust manifold piping leading to the cat converter without washers. I orginally installed it without the washers and it was rubbing on the exhaust pretty bad that stop and go driving became unbearable, so i put a total of 4 washers, 2 on each side and that stopped the rubbing but then i couldn't use the oe screws to tighten the brace. So now, i'm trying to figure out a way to fully tighten the brace to the chassis. Long story short, you get what you pay for. I should've of went with the cusco lower brace, the cost differences wasn't that great.

Yeah there is only a lower sway bar.. I think he meant he put on a upper strut brace.

There's no lower strut brace to buy like you can for a civic that ties the lower control arms mounts together, lower strut bars are for cars with a wishbone control arm that has one point on the engine member and the second point further away not supported laterally by the engine member.

There GS is totally different as it has a single control arm with a radius locator arm. And has a 4 point lower chassis brace thats ties the front engine member to the body.
