Default Where is fuse for cig. lighter?

Where can I find the fuse on my gen1 for the cig. lighter? I think the fuse must be blown because my radar detector stopped working and I tried something else in the lighter and that didn't work either. So I am guessing it is the fuse... Thanks!

check your drivers side kick panel.....i'm pretty sure that's where its at....look on the fuse box cover for CIG and that will tell you which fuse it is....

Nope no panel there, that is where it has always been on my other cars. So I don't know where it is...

It may also be the radio fuse, or possibly the interior light fuse, or even the horn fuse! Check all of those!

Hey Mcnelson. it is under the kick panel. right above the foot break. if i remember you might have to remove a screw or 2 to get to it. or just unhook it somehow. forsure its there cause i check mine. my fuse is good but my cigarette outlet still don't work. if you find out whats wrong please tell me it might be the same problem with my car. thanks

Yeah gues what same problem as you... the fuse under the kick panel by the pedals is fine; but it still doesn't work. The one by the back seats works, but not the front one. I was using a very small portable air compressor and it was working but then it just stopped working, I tried my radar detector and that didn't work; so I figured it was the fuse. But that wasn't the problem. What the hell are both of us going to do???????

have you tried maybe pulling the lighter out and making sure you have a good connection? Check with a test light to see if you have 12v going to the lighter.....it could be something other than a fuse.....also check in your fuse box under the hood to check if there is a separate fuse out there.
