Is it a waste? Only you can answer this.

All hobbies are a waste of money. I spend 10k each year going to hockey games, but I enjoy it, which is most important. Is it a waste? Yes. Do I care that it’s a waste? No. Have I accepted that fact? Yes.

So far my 02GS300 has been excellent runner with a little over 1 year of owerership...It drives well from point A to B in buttersmooth rides. There are many reasons for purchasing an Lexus, mainly from economic point point of view for me...I have bills to pay and I needed a trouble free car for many years to come.

Upgrades cost = $0
Replacement cost = $600 for fixing rear bumper/painting
regular oil changes/filter not listed.

Pros: good car
Cons: shiity gas milage
Satisfying overall factor: Built like a tank and very safe I think.

Recommended: yes
Not recommended: for people who thinks they could do an figure 8 on the highway.

Anyways, I thank everyone for contributing to this website and giving everyone a motivational pictures to see and progress updates. Good job and let's keep it up!

Thank you.

lol did you say a hobby to GAIN money? Rarely the case unless youre buying and selling items of value that you can get for cheaper such as watches. Thats my other hobby that i profit from because i can get a $2000 watch for 1300 and resell it.

With cars, yarite. Just enjoy what youve done
