1st Rule of Fight Club: You do not talk about Fight Club.
1st Rule of Modding: You do not add up the price of the Mods.

Either way, you won't like the result.

We all have hobbies and we spend a great deal of money on them. Long story short, if it makes you happy then do it. We all work really hard for our money, might as well use it on the things that make us happy.

This is a hobby... We like spending $$ on our cars why? because it make the car look good and you love the attention that your car gets. We all are like junkies without and addiction (That's not true our cars are our addiction). The good thing is that yes you spend more but also the value of your car goes up more than if you leave it stock. For what you've done to it. Some people cars value sky rocket and others only a few grand.

But most people here don't spend the money just to sell they're cars and if they do to me they're just testing the waters to see how much they're car is worth to somebody out there. I agree on one thing parts are super expensive and to some people making they're car look like how they wanted to look takes a long time because of funds.

Bottom line no matter what you buy (new I mean) whether its for your car or not you will never get that money back., because the price value drops "it's not new anymore". But ask anybody here and they will tell what i say "It's worth it, My car is worth it"

So to answer OP question Are we wasting our money? My point of view no!!!

I just wish I have a cheap hobby that gives me the same enjoyment as fixing up my car.

I mean I understand the amount of money your putting in to your car modding it but in the end it's also what makes your car unique and or special from any other car out there. Trust me one thing always leads to another! Lol you can say its a hobby, but I think of it as a passion hahaha (no homo)
