Vibration while idling..
Hey guys, I was stopped at a red light and noticed that my car started to vibrate, not that much but definitely not normal at all!! So I shut it off and turned it back on, and it didn't do it anymore... However, the last thing i did was an oil change 1 month ago, and so that was the first thing I checked, and when I looked at the dip stick I noticed that it seemed really low! But there wasn't any trace of a leak... So I bought 1 qt of oil and added it in and the dip stick jumped up to normal right after that...
My question is, could it be that the vibration can be caused by low oil? If so am I'm burning alot of oil??
Thanks in advance for any help!

I doubt the vibration was caused by low oil, unless it was really low and by then the "check oil light" would have come on, start with checking your motor mounts and cleaning your MAF Sensor and throttle body.

a lot of us on here have this problem. I read a bunch of threads on possible solutions to fix the problem like clean MAF, T/B, PCV valve and spark plugs. I did all of this 4 weeks ago and the car ran smooth so I "thought" but I dont think I gave it enough of a chance because it's still there. Im out of ideas myself. It seems like the idle is too low causing an unbalanced vibration to me.....which has me thinking maybe my motor mounts are bad and if I had new STRONG ones they would hold the motor in place better? I dont know man Im in the same boat.
bugs me everyday...I sit there and try to figure it out
