Default Am I the only one!!

Does anybody else have a situation where your tranny kicks when you don't apply gas if you simply coast down the street after slowing down ?? However my tranny run fine with smooth shifts and all necessary maintainence has been performed. Anyone else encounter similar symptoms?

Get your engine mounts and tranny mount checked out.

Every once in awhile I will get the hard shift when leaving the parking lot at work in the evening. I'm pretty sure it's the trans and motor mounts since mine are the originals going on 13yrs and 160k now.

Same issue. Probably mounts and/or mileage and age of the car.

Whenever 'thinking' it may be the transmission, always a good thing to do a fluid check many people overlook the maintenance of transmission's and bad things can happen when fluids go bad
