Yeah get Lucas fuel injector cleaner from your local auto store. Like they said MAF/TB cleaner will run you about $10-15 and there are links on the site showing you how to do it. Fairly easy job to do to be honest.

This has been posted many times... Especially people from NY. It's because of the road traffics. Some will chime in soon.

Wait till winter is over then check your fuel mileage. Gas stations put additives in their gas supply tanks to help "winterize" it. Everyone's mileage drops.
16-18 in normal driving is not bad at all.

I was getting near 13mpg in mixed driving. Changed out one O2 sensor, pumped the tires up, cleaned the MAF and throttle body, used some injector cleaner, and now I'm back to ~18mpg.

If i'm going to pay someone to clean the MAF and throttle body because Im not a DIY'er type of guy I don't have a garage nor do I own any tools, how much do you think is a good price to pay for this job? I will try the fuel injector gas treatment next fill up but I doubt it'll do anything. The MAF and throttle body is a spray that you have to take out the MAF and throttle body and spray it right?

It honestly is easy. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it myself, but I just looked at the DIY over and over again and I built the confidence and just got out there and did it. Was fairly easy job. If you don't feel comfortable doing it though just ask one of the guys on here that's located in NY to do it for you, we got plenty of people on here from NY. I'm sure one of them would be glad to do it for a small fee.

where in NY are you located? if youre from around the tri state drive to any autozone they usually have a couple of backyard mechanics waiting around to make a buck there who would do that for you for a little $. just stand there and look around and theyll come at you like pigeons seeing bread. just keep an eye on what theyre doing so you know they didnt mess anything up.

otherwise just spend a little more and go to a regular mechanic.
