I guess the sloped incline grove that leads to a slot for the spring to stay wore itself down..

Well back to the OEM for now
They key just wont prop out by itself anymore..Tried reassembly and reset the spring tension...still no dice

alwats nice to be first at something i have my shell i never used jay....maybe you can use my shell and put your key in it? although from reading this/looking at the pic im not sure whats exactly wrong with yours

Have you try using a dermal to remake the groove then bent down the spring back on to the slot

I'd need to add more with JB weld then sand it down...
Key was cheap enough I should just buy another casing..

mine is still holding up for now
i just opened it up to replace the battery and ruined the stickers tho
