ahh there is a crack on the tip of one of my intake hose. Ill check 2m. I had this same problem when i washed my engine before too, but i didnt wash n e thing this time. ill do all the checking tomorrow.. I thought a hose leak on the intake would only mess up the idle =(

Yeah my VSC lights are on too.

Hopefully it's only a cracked intake pipe. I had that go on my old Cressida as well (MX83/7M motor). I rebuilt the head but completely neglected to check the intake piping/MAF sensor. Went to start it and it shook like hell, sounded like it had a set of super aggressive cams and went no where. Ended up being a split in the pipe and crapped out MAF sensor. The crack you're talking about, did it get any larger? It may have split a little more causing wrong signals being sent to the MAF sensor, therefore causing the shakes (just a thought).

But yeah make sure you check all vac hoses, pipes and anything else you can think of that you needed to shuffle around. Re-tighten plugs too, possibly?

I found my problem. When replacing my spark plug wires i bought the crap Autozone ones. The autozone wires are a bit thicker than the OEM ones so when u push the wires into the clips it tears a bit form the wire lining making making the wires go bad. Woo found the problem so happy! =))))

Nice. Did you replace them with OEM? This is something I'll need to check on one of my Soarers as well (1UZFE motor).

No i did not i refunded it for the same one again but this time i used electrical tape instead of the clips. it works great right now
