I like the green color too, but just like the gold/beige is an "old guy" car, I usually see "old ladies" driving the green one. Clean GS4x0 is getting harder to find these days and for me condition would be the #1 factor, then maintenance history, then no accidents, and probably 4th or 5th in order of importance would be color.

If I were you, I wouldn't look for a 01+ GS300/GS430 for only 8000 walk out. 01+ 2GS with good condition plus decent milleage should run about 10k IMO. If you can find a 2GS with more than 139k for an 01, I would def pass that offer. Mind your cost to fix this and that after buying the car, considering it has high milleage.
and about your gold color, actually it's my favourite 2GS color. it looks nice and clean. and amazingly, it shines alot longer compared to other color IMO. I have a gold 2GS also. I will send u some pics..

You think 139k is high mileage? I thought it was a good checkpoint considering by now it most likely has had the timing belt and other 90k services done and it has another good 40 k until the next..
I think your GS is more of a light gold than a beige. Maybe it's just the lighting.
