Default Pinion Seal

Does anyone know what the book labor time is for replacing the pinion seal?

I show 2.7 hours for replacement on a gs400. I think its the same on an 01.

What rate are they charging per hr?

They were trying to tell me it was 5.5. I knew they were wrong. Maybe 5.5 if they are rebuilding the whole thing and eating lunch.

I argued with the shop about it since it was already apart. They claimed to of called shops around the area and everyone had a different answer between 2.7 and 5.5. So they gave it to me for 3.5 and included the diff fluid, my broken exhaust hanger (was broken before the shop) and a gasket that was leaking in it. So its whatever. Its done with.
