My q45 retrofit woes
sup guys. i went thru a q45 retrofit. it was good times.
the q45's. already bolted on the LM brackets
used my original headlights for the retro and it wasnt too good.
lenses were poor condition. finished the retro and didnt like my results....
...so i decided to buy new headlights
took those apart and finished my retro. results are much much nicer.
light output looks super cool. much better than HIDs in factory bowls.
i will post finished pictures in the day. the new lights gives the car a different and unique look overall.
EDIT: heres new pics i just took today
ooo made in germany
and just for kicks

So it sounds like you redid the entire retro? I thought you were gonna try to just use new lenses on top of what you had?
Are these the DEPO lights we talked about in the other thread? It's hard to see but it looks like there isn't the line of toyota~etc markings on the lower part of the lens.
I'm really interested in knowing if the lenses fit the oem housing. Your thoughts on the quality of the them overall could be helpful to many also..
Let us know how it turns out..

got em on ebay. was lucky to find a nice set
yep i redid the retro all over. it was pretty ez the 2nd time around. I thought they were going to be DEPO brand but it turned out to be Eagle Eyes. the quality is quite good. everything works as it should. just the rear plastics dont look so nice. also, the rubber seal doesnt look too great. its like a cheap rubber, and it doesnt look like the original or fit like original either. i had to compress it a bit before i could bolt them onto the fender/bumper. their lenses might fit the oem housing. im not 100% sure. i tried to swap it over but it didnt seem to fit 100%. it might have if i had tried harder, but i just decided to cut the chrome bezel on the new ones anyway.
damn i love you man. thanks for finding out the brand. now i might be able to buy their centercaps. oh and i see some places call it sienna and some murrietti
i like the orange lens. looks JDM yo
