Default Solenoid on power steering pump on GTE motor

Hey I was wonder is it critical to hook up the solenoid on the pump? I have noticed that The pump is leaking a lot of fluid, or the seal is bad. But when I did the swap I didn't hook up the solenoid wiring. Does anyone have a wiring diagram to hook the solenoid

I don't have the diagram, but check out Supraforums.com as that is pretty much 2JZ central. Do you have the old GE pump? you should be able to run that with the GTE relocation unit for the remote reservoir.

I dont have the old pump, sold that with my stock engine.

My setup is full 2jzgte vvti swap including the vvti ecu.

But do I really need that pps. Is that causing my pump to leak?
