2000 GS400 - First, let me start by saying that I did search this topic before posting a new thread. It seems there have been others asking the same question, but I did not find a clear answer in all the other posts, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.
After an interior swap, the airbag light is now blinking. It was not on before the swap. I was told the battery was disconected before the swap was started, but I can't be 100% positive as I wasn't there. I tried the 'disconnect the battery thing'. I also had my mechanic try to reset all the codes when the car was there to get the VSC/ABS lights out (it was a wheel sensor), but he said it didn't turn the airbag light off and that there were a whole slew of codes for the airbag.
First, will that scanner tool (non-lexus) clear the airbag code(s)??
Second, Assuming the answer is no: DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW A WAY TO CLEAR THE CODE WITHOUT GOING TO THE DEALER?
PS - The other car (donor car) is fine, no airbag light on in the other vehicle and they were both done the same way. (or so I was told, like I said, I wasn't there)

Did the swap involve removing the steering wheel?

Fix whatever causes the codes. After that the airbag light will no longer show up.
Also, the SRS was changed in 2GS model year 2000. Did you swap the airbags? If so, what year was the donor?
