Lee,

I can wait a week or two for the installation. No problem at all. We can have our small meeting at Fontana.

Will,
you know I don't want anyone know about my GS. That's why the car is almost always in garage. When we go out, I drive my mom's car.

RA & MRGS400,

You guys are just like myself and HI98GS.... I have to bring the Magoo's Pizza and HI98GS does my car stuff. But RA, you have more mechanical skills then I do... just ask HI98>>> he won't let me even touch my car.
How about we pay for your plane tickets here and we build a TT setup for the GS4???? LOL
Hope the plugs make a difference, HI and I are waiting for ours.....

Hudini,

I was just on the phone with Ricky yesterday. I'd love to install those plugs myself if I saw someone installed them before and there is an instruction manual. Since it needs to add some sore of oil in the plugs, if I add too much, it won't ground; if i add too little, there is a potential damage (correct me if I'm wrong); I'm not sure about the amount I'd need to use so it's better to let someone who really knows the stuffs to do it.

Just gotta go by your gutt Dennis. I even installed the CS coilovers on my car with the help of a friend, its just that it took me 4 hours and one pair of bloodly knuckles (from slammin my hand into the pavement on a tight bolt). Man, if I could do those, you can do the Plugs. Remember, no one is gonna baby your car like you are....unless the installer is bribed by some good food.

Hudini,

For a plane ticket to Hawaii, I would do anyones brake. I dunno, for me tinkering on cars is fun, especially when increasing the performance somehow. Next project on my list is the all tough and nerve racking install of Razo Pedals.

Do I need to use anti-seize compound? How about a specified turning angle or torque setting? I read somewhere that this is very important, as excessive tightening of a spark plug can cause breakage of the metal shell and damage to the interior seals. At the same time, insufficient tightening can lead to overheating of the spark plug and potential detonation.

Dennis
To this day the debate on whether or not to use anti sieze on aluminum heads rages on. Many say that it can/will damage the threads.
I myself never use it on sensitive areas such as this.
Just a small dab of oil on the threads is fine. It will work into the threads once you start threading. No issues with grounding.

Never remove plugs while head is still hot.

Hey RA
You gotta "come out of the closet" (or the garage) sometime. I KNOW that people will be interested in your ride. Oh well, I guess we will just have to do a raid on you house, get the keys and take your car for a joy ride. hmmmmmm wanna send me the plane fare to CA. I'll change the plugs and do whatever else you want done to the car. I only ask that you supply the air compressor (120-150 psi and about 20 gallon tank should suffice for any job). I'll bring my own tools.

BTW I have the 20/20 warranty (car runs for at least 20 seconds or moves 20 feet) whichever comes first. j/k.

have fun at the meet

aloha

20 feet? I thought you meant 20 inches. Whew~

Keeping my car as a secret is just a personal thing. Once I found there were couple guys checking out my car at Rowland Height. They asked, "is that REAL RacingHart C5?". LOL. I told them, "of course, I ain't drive no Honda. I fix my car accordingly." That's actually a quote from Mike.
