is it just me?
or is everyone out there asking wayyyy too much for their cars nowadays?
this guy's asking 2800 over blue book for a stock gs400 with 228,000 miles. and thats not the only one. I understand that sometimes kbb may not be fair, but hey thats how it is. anyone else feel that way? lol.

Unfortunately KBB doesn't mean much when it comes down to specific market values. If no one tries competing in pricing, then it's simple supply and demand. I can't get a decent truck for under $2500 nowadays in my area

I think the KBB reflects the change in the economy which has driven car values way down. This change to the economy does not always affect peoples perceived value for their cars. They simply ask what they feel it is worth and/or as 13loody said they can get.
