Default back again

Welp i'm back again with another GS,

just recently picked up a GGP Sport Design after selling my last SC

so i have now had 3 SC's a 1jz auto, black interior 5 speed, and a RSP with black interior NA-T

and now on my 3rd GS, previously a 98 GS300, and a 01 GS430..

so far i'm lovin the SD, i originally wanted a SD, but ended up getting a GS430 last time.. I'm not gonna lie i miss the 3UZFE acceleration and sound..

the 2JZ has plenty of go for normal driving though, and slightly easier to work on i guess lol..

anyways here's some pics, i've done couple things already but nothing much, my next plans are Tint and pick up a clean Aristo swap for it, i'm missing boost so much right now lol...

Yeah same here, im not sure why the SD's never came with the V8 though, seems like that would be a nice package.

the thing that sucks is i've always bought engines from Jhot, now i hear they are closing shop, so i'm leary on where to get a VVTI aristo swap..
also heard 02+'s are alot more of a pain to swap.. ahh well i just need to find a clean motorset and worry about the rest later lol..

Thanks man, yeah the tails, clear marker lights and suspension where on it already ... nice start

I'm definetly going to TRY and hold on to this one lol, it's everything i wanted in a GS (well missing boost) and it's in such great condition.

yeah man i think i like the GGP even better then my Royal sapphire pearl SC300.. My 430 was Millennium silver though and that's a great color as well!

thanks man, SD's started in 02' but the 03's and up got a few extra things like they changed the SD emblem on the fenders and floor mats i think, the 03+'s also got smoked headlight housings, and i believe a black wood steering wheel.. also in 03 the trunk lip spoiler was added, the previous owner added the one on my car..

Just had to comment on this, having owned a 2nd gen GS with Tan interior, one with Gray int, and this one with black

it is simply amazing how much the interior color changes the car..

I will say the black interior makes the inside seem much much smaller, but it gives it such a sportier feel inside and a little less luxury looking.

I think the gray interior is a great balance, it felt somewhat sporty, but no loss of that luxury feeling.

same feeling i guess when i went from a tan interior SC to a black, it just amazes me how much smaller interiors seem with black interior lol..

Great to have you back on this side of the forums, Erik!

Those GS400/430 wheels look great on there! Did you buy the car off of here?
